Races for Youkai Academy

Right here are the classes and races for the game Youkai Academy. Yes, the races determine what play style you will be using for the rest of the game. You have melee fighters, squishy magicians, mixed fighters, brainless brawlers and special fighters. Oh, not to mention that GENDER also plays a role in this game when determining your class, so yes, I am indeed stereotyping.

The Stats in this game are:
HP - Health
DP - Demonic Power (Mana)
ATK - Physical Attack
DEF - Physical Defense
MAG - Magic (Magical Attack)
MND - Mind (Magical Defense)
SPD - Speed
EVA - Evasion

Werewolf

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Melee Fighter Female - Melee Fighter
Good Points: Highest ATK and very high SPD among the other races, second highest EVA
Bad Points: Abysmal MND, low DEF
Skill Type: Overskill (Physical)
Weapon Proficiency: Fists
Difficulty of Play: **
Description: Werewolves are generally people who are half-wolf and half-human, and are NOT your average turn-into-a-wolf-at-full-moon type of werewolves. They have wolf ears, a wolf tail and the ability to smell and hear things from far away, just like a wolf. Everything else about them is human. However, they are usually a rowdy bunch, picking fights with others to train themselves, even if the opposing party is reluctant on fighting them. They are powerful and quick, with rather high EVA. Due to their speed, they do not like wearing clothes as they can be cumbersome, and both genders tend to wear minimal clothing, and therefore have a lacking DEF stat. They absolutely cannot stand magic. Due to their attacks never being Elemental, they fall behind in some aspects when it comes to damage dealing, but they are supported by having massive amounts of ATK.

Vampire

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Melee Fighter Female - Magician
Good Points: Second highest DP and mana regeneration for Females, high ATK and heath regeneration for Males.
Bad Points: Low HP, even for males who are melee fighters. Low overall EVA.
Skill Type: Overskill (Physical)(Male), Devastator (Magical)(Female)
Weapon Proficiency: Swords for Males, Staffs for Females
Difficulty of Play: **
Description: Vampires. You've heard about them one way or another, be it old fantasy tales or Twilight. They are the bloodsucking fiends of the night... well. Not really. They might be rather fragile beings, but they don't actually suck blood; they suck life force. Males, who are more proficient in this skill, can channel this power into their weapons, so any for any damage dealt, the Male Vampire in question receives a certain amount of health in return. Females, however, have turned this ability into mana depletion, absorbing some of the stolen mana in the damage they cause. They are the most balanced class in the game so far.

Umbrella Spirit

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Black Mage Female - Cleric
Good Points: Highest EVA. High MND and MAG.
Bad Points: Extremely low HP and DEF
Skill Type: Devastator (Magical)
Weapon Proficiency: Umbrella
Difficulty of Play:***
Description: Your typical RPG squishy mage, although with a twist. Low HP and DEF, but high MAG and MND. Due to their ethereal body, they also have the highest EVA, allowing them to dodge most conventional attacks and spells with utter ease. However, they are the easy targets of accuracy boosting spells, as well as unavoidable attacks. Due to the fact that they can only materialize under umbrella, each one carries each own like a magic conductor so that it will never leave their side. The Males, who are more interested in destructive magic, take Black Magic into their Wing. Females, however, enjoy giving life and picked up Healing Magic instead.

Tengu (Crow Spirit)

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Lightning Bruiser Female - Fast Buffer
Good Points: Godlike SPD. You have no idea. Also high EVA. SPD increases every turn, and ability have two turns depending on SPD.
Bad Points: Low HP, lower than average ATK and MAG. Males have lower MND while Females have lower DEF.
Skill Type: Overskill (Physical)(Male), Devastator (Magical)(Female)
Weapon Proficiency: Polearms for Male, Staffs for Females
Difficulty of Play:****
Description: Tengus are the fastest things in this land, like how Scout is the fastest in TF2. For Males, their power and damage mostly relies on their speed. For Females, their abnormal speed allows them to cast multiple buffing spells for their partner in a single turn. However, due to their reliance on SPD, all their other stats are pretty sub par. Not only that, but if their SPD were nerfed, they would be practically useless. However, as the battle rages on, Tengus increase their SPD due to stress. They have the innate ability to obtain multiple turns equal to the ratio of their speed to their opponent's.

Archetype

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - LIVING WALL Female - Defensive Buffer
Good Points: Both have stellar MND and DEF. Males have 1.5x more DEF while Females use Defensive Buffer and Offensive Water Magic.
Bad Points: Very low SPD. Males have low DP while Females have low HP.
Skill Type: Overskill (Physical)(Male), Devastator (Magical)(Female)
Weapon Proficiency: Blunt for Male, Books for Females
Difficulty of Play: **
Description: Achetypes are advanced elementals, up to the point that they are manifestations of nature themselves. Males tend to be Earth elementals while Females are generally Water elementals. They both can transform into their Achetype forms at will, but mostly retain a human appearance. Due to their defensive nature, they both are usually unscathed by conventional attacks or spells. While Males prefer to smash through things with brute force, Females tend to boost themselves and others through their water magics.

Archetype - Chaos (Unloackable)

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Unknown Female - Unknown
Good Points: All stats are higher-than-average.
Bad Points: Levels up 1.5x as slow as other classes.
Skill Type: Overskill or Devastator depending on starting weapon.
Weapon Proficiency: All
Difficulty of Play: ***
How to unlock: Beat the game with an Archetype wielding a Chaos weapon.
Description: These Archetypes are created through the usage of dark alchemy and the corpse of an Archetype. Chaos Archetypes are profiecient in any weapon, spell class or style of fighting. However, they gain experience slower than others due to their overbearing stats. Not only that, but to to their confusion in which Skill Type to use, they might not learn some of the higher level Overskills or Devastators that others who are more suited to the class would usually learn. However, their versitality is endless.

Animal Shikigami

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Mixed Fighter Female - Mixed Fighter
Good Points: High HP and ATK. Can transform into their animal forms, in that state, they gain more boosts from magicians.
Bad Points: Can only learn basic magic. Animal Forms are weak physically.
Skill Type: Overskill and Devastator.
Weapon Proficiency: Fists
Difficulty of Play: **
Description: These feisty little critters, Nekomata for females and Inu for males, are familiars of some sort. While they are profiecient in close range attacks, they can learn some basic magic so that they can boost themselves in battle. They also have the ability to transform into their animal forms, which are two-tailed cats for females and dogs for males. However, although they are physically weak in that form, they have extended boosts from magic spells, as well as increase the power of magic spells from their partners. Therfore, they are the perfect partners for magicians.

Jiangshi (Chinese Zombie)

Gender/Class Allocation: Male - Melee Fighter Female - Melee Fighter
Good Points: Lots of HP with turn regeneration. High MND with relatively high ATK.
Bad Points: Nearly no mana. Slow as heck.
Skill Type: Overskill
Weapon Proficiency: Blunt
Difficulty of Play: ****
Description: No, they are not decaying Chinese corpses, if that is what you're asking. They are people who are dying but have their lives prolonged via magic. They still retain their image and figure, especially the females, but they have a talisman stuck on their foreheads or hat. They are relatively slow, as their bodies are partially paralyzed due to the slow but steady state of death they are in, however, they are pretty good that hitting things with clubs and the like, plus their bodies have hardened and gain regeneration due to the magic that holds their body together. This also means they have high magic resistance. However, this also means Tengus can run circles around them.
